What about cutting, coloring, or perming my hair prior and after surgery?
The best thing is to have your hair colored, permed, and/or
cut 2 to 3 weeks prior to your hair transplant surgery.
After the surgery, we ask that you allow at least 6 weeks before
you get a hair cut or color. Perming your hair should be discussed with
Dr. Koher at the time of your surgery. Six weeks may not be a sufficient
amount of time after your surgery.
Can Hair Transplants really help women?
Hair transplants is your own natural, growing hair placed in the hair loss
areas. It is nature perfect fit. We are rearranging the hair follicles to
areas that are thinning or have complete hair loss. The hair that is
transplanted grows just like your own hair because it is your own hair.
You can not tell the difference between the existing hair or the
transplanted hair.
